In 1993, The Jungclas Family proudly celebrated its 400th Anniversary as Bakers in Germany. The Family Bakery which has remained in family hands throughout the past 400 years is actually owned and operated by two different portions of the Jungclas Family. These individual "Jungclas Family Bakeries" are still in operation today.
For over 400 years now the bakeries have been passed on and handed down from one generation to another. The Jungclas Family Bakeries are located primarily in and around two locales in Germany . Christoph Jungclas is the propietor of The Jungclas Family Bakery in and around Hamburg, Germany while Eckhard Jungclas is the propietor of The Jungclas Family Bakery in and around Treysa , Germany.
