The Düsing Family, Our Heritage, and Our Family's Farm

Map of Germany

The Düsing Family comes from the Village
of Heeke bei (by) Alfhausen, Germany. Records for
the Düsing Family and the Düsing Family Farm
date back to about 1452. The Düsing Family were
parishoners of St. Johannis Roman Catholic Church
of Alfhausen, Germany. In fact, the Düsing Family
Farm was within walking distance of St. Johannis
Catholic Church. The area in and around Heeke and
Alfhausen, Germany is a relatively small and close
knit farming community. Even by today's standards it
is still a relatively small community in which the main
industry is devoted to agriculture. St. Johannis
Roman Catholic Church of Alfhausen, Germany
serves the community of Alfhausen as well as several
other smaller nearby villages just as it has for
centuries. One of those villages that it claims as a
portion of its parish is Heeke, Germany.

The Düsing Family can be traced back generation by generation until about 1740.
However, the History and Heritage of the Düsing Family dates back beyond 1740 as
records for the Düsing Family and it's Farm can be traced back to as far as 1452. Below is
a photograph of one of the original Düsing Family Farm buildings.

Between 1740 and 1452 the genealogy of the Düsing Family is incomplete when tracing
generation by generation but records clearly indicate that the Düsing Family Farm
remained in the hands of the Düsing Family for this period in time.

Hence, the Düsing Family has a rich and vast Heritage that spands well over 500 Years!

Below you find even more photographs of the Düsing Family Farm as well as the
Inscription that appears an and above the doors to the one of the original Düsing Farm
buildings which is still in existance and is still used today in Heeke, Germany.
